On foot from Looe station, continue along Station Road towards the sea for about 800 mtrs., then cross the bridge from East to West side of the river. Bear right towards Polperro for about 100 mtrs. following the railings. Schooner Point and steps leading to Trelawney Terrace are on your left at the first junction (opposite the turning to the main car park).
There are regular bus services all year along the coast, east to Torpoint & Plymouth, west to Polruan for ferry to Fowey and inland to Liskeard. These buses will stop at Princes Square on West Looe or in front of Old Bridge Surgery on East Looe. Either way, go to the west end of Looe Bridge, bear right towards Polperro for about 100 mtrs. following the railings. Schooner Point and steps leading to Trelawney Terrace are on your left at the first junction (opposite the turning to the main car park).
From Plymouth (toll bridge is free into Cornwall - £2.00 going back), take the A38 West, then A387 or B3251/2 to Looe. On crossing the bridge from East to West Looe, turn LEFT onto Quay Road. Follow Quay Road until you see Ellie's Haven Shop on your right, turn right after this onto Fore Street. You will see The Fire Station on your left, go past this and take the second turning on your right, North Road. Follow the road up the hill, until it splits, take the left fork onto West Road. Schooner Point is 100 mtrs. up on the right.
From St.Austell take the A390, towards Liskeard. Turn right onto the B3359, after Middle Taphouse. Follow B3359, through Pelynt until you reach the A387. Turn left to Looe. Follow the A387, go past the turning on your right for Goonwartha, take the next turning on your right, onto Downs Road. Follow this to the next junction and turn left onto Beech Terrace. Go down the hill and Schooner Point is 250 mtrs. on left.
